From The Past

Elliot and I are part of a dinner party that gets together once a month to enjoy each other's company with out all of our kiddies.

We hosted March, which was a green food theme, and although the food tasted delicious, it didn't look very appetizing!  After we ate we plugged in Rock Band and let out our inner rockstars!

We were all a bit nervous to share our singing voices, but after a few songs we all let loose and joined in!  Our true talent shined through until the neighbors came over... to join in!

Elliot on drums, Alizé on vocals, Ryan on joke telling, Em on guitar, Marisa and Scott on PBR bystander mode!  Thanks Amy for taking this pic!

Don't be fooled by the plastic instruments; this game is a lot harder than it looks!  My arms were killing by the time the end of the song came, and I didn't even come close to hitting all of my notes!

Alizé on drums, Ryan on guitar, Elliot on vocals, and Em's feet on bass!

Marisa on bass, Ryan as beer drinking bystander, Em and Alizé as too cool dancers!

For some reason there are no pictures of Amy or Mike, but don't worry - I'll be sure to get some next time around!

The couples are as follows:  Scott & Amy, Ryan & Marisa, Mike & Emilee, and Elliot & Alizé

Atticus the Blogger

Atti saw me typing on my laptop and thought he would give it a try - don't worry, he did no damage!

Hiking Mueller Park

This afternoon Atti and I went hiking with Amy, Isaac, Em, and Will!  We had such a great time, even though Atti has gained a few pounds since last time we went and I thought my back might crack in half!  It will be something that we can look forward to on summer days and we are excited to start doing more often!

Atti eating Cheerios on our break!

All the boys:  Isaac, Atticus, and William!

On the way down Atti had the "head bob" going on, which meant that he was about to fall asleep and head butt me on his way out!  We made it through and had an excellent time!

The Hip Dance

Here is a quick shot of Atti's famous dance!

Zoo Day!

What a fun day at Utah Hogle Zoo!  Farmor (Claire) took Atti and I to visit all of the wonderful animals and to see the baby giraffe!  Atti loved to play on the playground and meet new friends!

I want to go up there!

Knock, knock!  Who's in there?

That is one big bug!

Playing in the water fountain!  Who's that cute boy?

Atti is not so fond of the carousel...

My Little Brother A.J.

For anyone who wants it, here is A.J.'s address while he is in boot camp!  I am sure he would love to get a few letters of encouragement!

Sunday Walks

What a beautiful day! We were totally lazy until late afternoon when we took Atti on a walk to B-town park, where he went up and down the slides for an hour! He loves to play and run around! His face is healing nicely where he fell on it last week (totally my fault for not being close enough to catch him as he fell off a curb...) and he is as happy as can be to be getting a nice dose of vitamin D.

It is hard to get a good shot of our little monster running full speed for the slide! I took video, but did it sideways and can't get it to flip upright to put it on here! Next time I will pay more attention so you can see just how good Atti is at going down the slides all by himself!

Look how cute his hat is! (Thanks Mike, Em, and Will!)
